Rubber Molds

When creating multiple pieces, jewelry molds become an essential ingredient in the production process. Numerous wax or plastic replicas of a model can be created from a mold in order to cast multiple pieces.

In addition, your model remains protected once the mold has been made. For added security, R.S. Nazarian stores all jewelry molds in a fireproof, bank-quality vault.

In order to best serve your needs, the team at R.S. Nazarian works with you to determine the most effective and economical mold material for your project. R.S. Nazarian offers two types of jewelry mold material:

1) Natural Rubber

Our Standard Vulcanized rubber mold is used in conjunction with metal models since the model must be able to resist both heat (greater than 300 degrees Fahrenheit) and pressure. Castaldo White Label rubber is the material used in production and this process is most economical when the production run is relatively large.

2) Silicone

Our Room Temperature Vulcanized (RTV) material can be used with any model make of a  material that  cannot withstand the heat and pressure require  required with Standard Vulcanized rubber molds. This would include clay, putty, and wax, as well as metal. RTV is also a good option when production volumes are relatively low.
